Yesterday was the first day of Phase Two of the Busload of Books Tour! After their year-long tour, and a well-deserved break, Robbi and Matthew are back out on the road in the bus, this time for a mini-tour.

On Monday the bus stopped at Buckeye West in Adena, OH to spend time with students and teachers before continuing their week-long trip from Chestertown to St. Louis! After what we're sure was an amazing assembly at Buckeye West, they’re heading to Glendover Elementary in Lexington, KY today. For the final visit, the bus will head to the city of St. Louis to present at the St. Louis History Museum to over 600 St. Louis Public School second graders. Robbi and Matthew will wrap up their trip with a presentation at the Build-A-Bear World Headquarters to share with them the impact of their philanthropy for students, who as you may remember, each receive a Build-A-Bear reading buddy and a free copy of Robbi and Matthew’s book, Everywhere, Wonder, courtesy of Build-A-Bear and First Book.
In other exciting news, Robbi and Matthew will also be doing virtual visits! They’ll be giving virtual presentations at a handful of schools across the country, and our team will be gathering data regarding virtual visits in conjunction with in-person visits. We’ll be sharing more information about our plan for researching virtual visits soon, so make sure to check back in!
